Adding to the SBIA award received for Product Innovation and Accessory Product of the year, and also the Good Design award, the FCS Freedom leash has well and truly been recognised for its revolutionary design and innovation.
Starting with a product that has essentially remained unchanged for two decades our aim was to challenge ourselves to completely re-invent the leash, and to design a leash that felt like you weren’t wearing one at all.
The cord became a focus point and evolved into something completely new, both visually, and the way it was constructed. A high tensile nylon yarn braided over an internal PU cord resulted in a thinner, lighter and ultimately stronger leash.
Every other component was then redesigned to compliment the cord and enhance the overall user experience.
We’re extremely proud and thankful for the support as well as all the hard work from our team in making this product such a success.
